you dont need that on your pipe..... you can get your boost reading by t-ing of the wastegate pipe as its a hdi. diesels work diferently to petrols and the best place for fitting a boost gauge is the wastegate pipe. i've got mine fitted just after the boost control valve.

Can you draw me a quick picture on paint or something mate? So basically you have the boost control valve AND boost gauge on the same line. ie.
.......................................................................................T-Peice

Start Wastegate [--------------------------Boost Controller------_____-------------]End Wastegate
...........................................................................................l
...........................................................................................l
..............................................................................Boost Gauge

all i was going to do is drill into the stainless pipe that runs round your engine cover as it's easeri to get it welding into that. Cause the inlet pipe you have a picture of is only like a pot metal and has a very real chance to snap upon drilling :/

if you want a bleed nipple anyway pal then if you can make it down to where my car is still sitting the bleed nipple is still located in the old boost pipe as i couldn't be bothered taking it out, i also have the tap for the right size Wink

the only place youll get one of those is if you buy another gauge

if you want to take it out for re-use replace it with a bolt

if your trying to buy it from a dealer just print out that picture and take to show them if there any good they should be able to sort it out
most dealers are surprisingly helpful if your friendly enough although im surprised mine hasnt killed me due to the 5 years of constant awkward bits iv wanted to order haha Very Happy
