hi all
I think it maybe me being thick and got confused
my gti180 has started to get a sloppy gear change but i hear they are cable fed
i am looking to tighten my gear change up again
what would i need to change to do this

good old peugeot just phoned them and they told me i would have to buy a gearbox because they can not be change (WHAT A LOAD OF CRAP!!!)
so i phoned back got a different person and woop woop i have the part numbers and prices
for anyone with a gti180 that is starting to find some play in there gear change

P/N: 2444W8 (selection)

does anyone know how hard it is to fit these i have done alot of engine work on the good old 8v but i am new to peugeot's 16v and i am unable to find a haynes manual for the addition help

Mainly due to me spending so much money with my Peugeot dealership when I had the car .
I also get very good postage rates working for a mail order company, PM me if you need anything.

I think you'll be disappointed if you think changing the cable will change the gearshift quality.

Even if its gone from being quite loose (standard) to extremely loose?

It has gone really loose I can put it in first and wobble it left to right and lmst move it over too 5th gear
