hello, just wondered if anyone else runs a very low daily and if so wot probs do you come across with the 206, my mainly is the fact my side seals scrap on everything lol and the little bits of rubber behind front wheel arch for drainage

Mine's about 65mm drop on coilies, never had a problem with it.
Previous 206 was lowered to about 50mm, but had a front splitter which was forever getting caught on humps & kerbs

I'm lowered via the click method (apparently this is around 60mm) on standard shocks but with some additional weight the back sits a lot lower.
My biggest issues are table tops and humps (but I like holding everyone up for some bizarre reason) and more annoyingly dips in the road cause a bit of arch rubbing at speed.
I do a lot of motorway driving, and my route contains a few dips like this.

yea dips are the worts, manily if u end up goin down roads you down no or cambered roads

My 206 was lowered 60mm two weeks ago. Its my first car i have had lowered. Havent had a problem so far, drives a hell of alot better as well

my 206 is very low but seems to be ok on speedbumps just harsh sudden drops that mine cant cope with !

yea they do handle much better when lowered but i think mine is beyoned that lol as it has no roll at all but feels like it on rails

My 180 is pretty low. Bout 80mm front 100mm back. It's fine over speed bumps and handles like a train.

i run a very low car day in day out and i just get the usual problems like scraping the floor every where and the very rough ride but its worth it lol

yes i would love air ride aswell but its all down to cost mate its to expensive i still have to get the right set of wheels for it first

I'm getting lowered on coils next month..all the above problems like scraping and crawling over bumps got me worried about doing it at first but my car sits like a tractor at the moment. Europug I saw your car at Trax and it pretty much summed up the reason for doing it..absolute stance perfection. Not to mention the lack of body roll through corners which should equal big :D's.
