Hi guys,

If you saw my hi thread you will know I got a fairly cheap 206.

Just been spending bits of time having a look at it and bits that need sorting out and noticed something odd.

On the boot catch there is a push button. I thought it was for the boot light but that comes on when the boot is half way up.

Can anyone shed any light on what the button is for as the wires to it seem to have been cut off so its just sitting there doing nothing at the min.

the boot light works from a mercury tilt switch mate so i would say its from an aftermarket alarm.

I will try and get a pic when I am home from work. I need to start a bit of a thread about the car really.

No aftermarket alarm as it has the factory fitted one.

Thanks for the suggestions so far though
