Sorry if this has already been asked but can you get a roof rack/bars for a GTI? I have seen some on ebay but that about it. I'm looking to transport 1 or 2 mountain bikes and don't really want the mount on the back thingy (mates have damaged their cars). If anyone knows where to get them or even has some they no longer want, please feel free to PM me

yeah just look for the pug ones make sure thier for a 3 door tho i picked some up recenlty for 20 quid but you might want to look into something else for the mounting bike wheels.
or look at the thrule ones they are very good but cost alot.

I got some for my 5-door from Halfords in the summer to carry camping equipment - they did the job
