Hi im going to change my brake and pads. In the haynes manual it says i need to replace the caliper guide pin bolts & new caliper mountin boltsJust wondered if this was necisarry as pug dealer has charge 40quid for new guide pin bolts.

the guide pin bolts wont be £40..that be a guide pin set.
the bolts will be cheaper. dont know if you can get them seperate. usually you get replacement bolts with the pads (sometimes anyway)

if i think the part your talking bout is the part im about to talk about...
then they should come with the brakes... and you dont need to go to main dealers for brakes.. as long as you can get bosch ones or something reputable will be ok!

i got new bolts with my discs and didnt even need to replace any
