Razpulsedj's Project Black
So i picked up myself a new 206 after selling my old one which i was slightly sad to see go but meant a faster car and something new for me to work on.
Why Project Black? This car is called a Peugeot 206 Black Edition which was made for the showrooms and only a limited amount were made, to this day there is not one on this site making this model rare, there is also the Silver Edition which is also rare but i have spotted a few of these
The Black edition is basically a Roland Garros but a different colour, has the same features as the Garros, Rear electric windows, Panoramic Sunroof etc
Mod list to date:
Gt Bumpers
Vortex alloys (now shadow chrome)
180 Interior
Powerflow System
Rear Black Afterburner Lights
Black fog light
Morette Headlights
Half Leather interior
Custom Made Bumper Grille
K&N induction kit
Debadged
Sunstrip
Carbon Wrapped Peugeot Badge
Vibe Slick 6x9 Speakers
Vibe sub
Cold Air Induction Feed
Carbon fibre effect bonnet vent
Leather door cards
Lowered 40mm all around
Heko Wind Deflectors
Shark Fin Aerial
Fly eye kitted all lights
Bonnet Bra
Carbon Wrapped Cupra Splitter
Custom Mesh Front Grille
Bi Plane Spoiler
Suede A and B pillars
Suede Roof Lining
Here is what the car started off like up until this day
This is when i picked the car up
Yes the mats are horrible and went straight in the bin
An awesome glass roof which you cannot tell from the outside
Now i started the modding
Firstly i got rid of the rear lexus lights and replaced with some led ones
Spot the difference anyone? ...............
................
Yes its debadged.
Now finally to get rid of that bootstrip badge
I managed to get a member to pick me up one and got it on day it was recieved
Done
I managed to find someone who was after trading their vortexs for some smaller alloys and cash so i snapped these up straight away, my car needs a good lowering and the alloys need a good refurb
I then took my alloys to wheel doctor in scunthorpe and got them refurbished in a shadow chrome colour which looks sexy
While the car was at the garage i decided to spray up my centre console and vent surrounds in a gloss black colour to give the inside some more syle
Havent been modding for a while i was saving up to buy some Gt bumpers but they took a while to track down, someone on ebay was selling the rear at a buy it now price of £15 so i snapped that up, guy must not of knew it was a gt, i also spotted a guy on ebay selling a full gt kit so asked if he would break and he sold me the front by itself and it took a 2 hour drive to get there but it was worth it
After a few weeks of selling and saving i finally had enough money to get the bumpers sprayed up, so left the car for a good 3 days while they were done
While the car was getting sprayed up i decided to spray a spare front badge which i had in a white colour ready to go on when i got the car back
Got the car back and i am so happy with the results! Ill let you lot be the judge
Now im stuck for what to do.....i know ill paint the calipers white to match the badge!
Calipers done which dont look too bad, better than the standard colour
An edit by Ste206
Look what i bought! Cold air feed pipe the car origionally came without and air box and just a cone filter but i took that off and fitted an air box which diddnt have a feed so decided to go to halfords and get myself one, quite tricky to fit but got there in the end
Also i got some new number plates with the DC logo on (pic 2)
Here are my new afterburner lights painted and fitted
So today i finally got my a**e into gear and decided to tackle something which ive been wanting to do for a while which is to re-trim my door cards in leather, well leatheritte stuff. Im currently doing them now but to test the water i decided to work on something smaller.
So i did an old fuel cap to see if i could re-trim anything and it came out real well, of course it isnt shiny like my paintwork but looks pretty cool and i think is very unique
I then took a bigger step and got my glovebox done which now stands like this
So here are my door cards which i have retrimmed in leather, i have done front, back and the glovebox which can be seen above
Here they are fitted in the car
As im a rollerblader i thought id show my love to it by getting myself a sticker made up. What you think? lol
I finally got her lowered! 40mm in the front and same at back but looks slightly lower
Pic thanks to Ste
Entrace shot to The Fast Show
After the fast show i had the idea of getting some Heko wind deflectors as they looked real smart and after chatting to a few car owners they sounded like a good option
My car diddnt have an aerial so finally decided to get hold of one but went a bit differentt and got a small shark fin aerial, after a bit of of extending the hole in the roof i finally fitted it and heres the results
Black with new vinyl from mod nats show
Mod Nationals best solo car club make/model winners!
I got myself a nice set of 180 seats
21/08/11
Havent really updated this in a while so here goes
I hae recently retrimmed my doorcards again and got round to carbon wrapping the a,b and c pillars which were fairly straight forward although the rears were the hardest
Also i have fly eyed my front lights, fogs and rear lights
Latest Update 19/11/11
Been a while since my last update but recently i have purchased myself a GT upper grille so now ill have a better fitment for the front as the current grille does not clip in right so just need to get this sprayed
I got myself a bonnet bra for motorway journeys as ive just have my new bonnet resprayed so im hoping it keeps it that way
Latest Update 30/12/12
Ive now got a Cupra Splitter which ill be carbon wrapping on another day but this is what ive been upto today
I bought myself some black mesh and fitted to my GT bumper and here is the result
After searching around for a splitter for my GT bumpers i finally decided to go ahead and get the cupra splitter but once i got it i thought it was just a little bit boring and plain and as im not too good at spraying decided to do what i was better at which was carbon wrapping
Wrapping this however was a challenge to do it in 1 piece and no help from anyone else but its come up a treat! I know some people will slate this and say why not buy a real carbon fibre 1, id rather save 100 quid and do it this way lol
Then fitted
Carbon wrapped front badge fitted and a GT upper grille for better fitment
Update! 12/04/12
I recently bought Black a new spoiler and finally got round to getting it sprayed and finding the time to fit today
With a big help from our very own Ste, we managed to fit this with a little bodging but a job well done, took us about an hour to decide whether to fit or not as its made such a big change to my car which im still a little unsure off
Rear View
Update 9/5/2012
The the past week when i have had chance i thought i would do something totally different as i wanted my roof lining spraying black but decided to Suede it along with the A and B pillars, i just sprayed the C pillars as they were impossible to suede
Here are the results, just some patches of glue here and there to tidy up and then fit all the parts, my roof has a panoramic sunroof hence the massive gap in the lining
Since I've done my roof in suede I have also now started on the door cards, here are the front 2
I've also took off my front bumper, installed a new horn, cleaned the front so behind the grille is no longer dirty, highered my bumper as it was sagging and painted my red cold air feed black
Recently ive been so busy at work and prepping the car for mod nats and fcs and finally got round to getting my Powerflow exhaust system fitted from my GT im breaking
Here it is, sounds amazing
17/7/12
So recently after becoming victim of Ste's mental boot build we decided to make a quite unique one in my car, so 3 days of hard graft on it we finally had it all built and booming, pics to follow once its completed
Here are some latest shots of Black i thought id share
Spotted by fast car at french car show! couldnt believe it
Myself and Jensen at one of our local car meet ups
Thanks for looking, all comments welcomed

nice mods mate would also look good with a new splitter as the standard ones are crap as they dont go around the bumper, you can get them cheap to

I like what you have done, dont think it needed a ph2 strip but then im probably weird liking the badge version (especially with the rest of the boot debadged) but its down to personal choice. Like you say, drop it a bit on those rims and its all looking pretty sweet! Noice!
