Are you from Holywood N.I? If you are Eddie Torrens car breakers in Ballymoney has 2 axles in at the mo because I was gonna buy 1. Mine is actually away getting the bearings on the radius arm replaced at the moment. Its a lot cheaper than replacing the axle especially if you get a 2nd hand 1 and find its got the same problem!!

Just get ay rear drum axle. Even if it has ABS on the axle just remove the sensors.

Thanks for the replies, yes i am in Holywood and know what you mean about getting a replacement and winding up with the same problem a couple of months later. or even less. If the guy in Ballymoney was selling them cheap enough i would get one and refurbish it just to make sure. I dont know what the @*** to do but i need to do something soon, the car is getting very hard to handle, my wife drives it and i love her. OK its obvious the pugs have a problem with the rear axle thats why when a second hand axle comes on the market somewhere its usually gone in the blink of an eye. If people replace there axles so much , where are all the old ones they took off ? Anyone?? I know it will take me ages to do the work once i remove mine from the car, so to get off on the right footing if if i had a list of parts that can be replaced i could get them ordered. If anybody could help with that it would be great. Thanks. (by the way i can get a brand new one from China the only problem is i have to buy thirty of them and i dont have the room.)
