went to castle combe last weekend for the Ajec Action Day, had a brill day, was on the track twice, both in the moring, one at half 9 which was fun as the track was soaking, and went sideways everywhere, but the seciond session was good, but did get held up by a pleb in a scooby that wouldnt let me pass but got passed in the end :assassin:
here are some pics of the day,
heres a vid of the 1st session, as you can see, i was hiving fun in the corners

Well just been tinkering with the car again, i bought some new adjustable gear linkages for my shed just fitted them and what a swine it was to get the old ones off, but finally did it soo much difference for the better, works well with the quick shift that is on there, so all in all a good buy
Next on the list is to get the tracking and balencing sorted and sort either the wishbones out or something in that region as ive got a random wheel wobble goin on, and i cant find why its happening so once that is sorted i can move on to rebuilding my new beam
no pics as it was getting dark and i was getting frustrated

well, still having probs with the idling of this shed, but they will soon be sorted hopefully when i recieve the new ICV sometime this week. Got some shiney bits for the pug tho well one is sort of shiney and the other not so, but there new for me, so all is well, one is a PTFE gasket for the inlet manifold and the other is a machined ally bung for the underside of the inlet manifold
so hopefully once these are fitted i will have a few more BHP in the bag, well about 2 or 3 maybe, but will make it sound better there is a resonator under the inlet which is being replaced with the bung and aparently gives a abit more lb/ft and bhp, how true that is i dont know, but i can give it a swift go, even if it doesnt add anything, it will make the induction roar a touch louder with the PFTE gasket aparently this decreases the inlet temp somehow therefore makes the air a touch colder which means abit more power so good times, i will update with info if it feels any different once fitted.

Well i think its time for a bit of an update. For the past month or so i have been suffering from a stupid idle problem i couldnt find the cause of, changed allsorts to no avail, so thought i would pop on my new bits that i have had for a few weeks, so onto the pics.
removed inlet
bit of a closeup of all the valves looking fan-dabi-dozie
was abit worried that the valves were bent or something but im happy with the outcome
the inlet
as you can see, the tard who had the inlet powdercoated didnt take the coating off the face of the inlet so it was all bubbling and not fitting flush, so that is now down to bare metal and flat again.
some insides of the inlet with the coating in them, (hope all is well with that)
and here it is with the bung in place
next on the list now i have done that is to clean the head and fit it all and hope my idling is fine.
should be another update of the outcome of the bung and ptfe gasket if all is well with them
