Hi all,
My front drivers side has started knocking alot, over the tiniest of defect in the road it sounds like metal knocking on metal. there is no vibrating or pulling to a side
is this just a bush or something? are there any common issues with 206 suspension?
the car has been lowered in the past so wouldnt suprise me if a bush has worn!

Does the sound come from high up? Could be the top mount bearing. Or a drop link.

Cant really tell to be honest, I checked to see if the drop link had snapped but it seems tight, havent had the car up in the air yet though.

They are drop links which connect to the anti roll bar! Yes as stated before it will be these that are knackered. Only a 10 minute job! I would do both sides as if one is gone chances are the other will be close to going as well

Yes it is the first part of the suspension to go. It is because of all the holes in the road just now!

Fixed this today.. turned out to be something completely different! ECU had somehow worked it's way loose.. tightened the bolt up... no more knocking
