When i drive forward and put my steering on full lock the wheels seem to judder as if they want to go straight.If i ease off the full lock the wheels turn ok.Anyone any ideas why this is happening?Thanks

Strange thing is i had a mondeo before and that did the same.Would different tread depth on tyres cause this?

I've got exactly the same problem. Had a feeling it was the diff but had it looked at and they said it wasn't.

make sure there is no play in the wheel bearings 1st, free and easy thing to look at.

never found the cure for the problem,but when i had a new set of tyres on all round it doesnt do it anymore

i think mine has this as well. when its in full lock the steering doesn't turn back by its self or is that normal lol
