i have exactly the same problem as you mate. my car is that low that there is only about half an inch between the sill behind the front wheels and the floor. this make jacking car up stupidly annoying. you got any ideas of an easy way to jack it up? |
Drive onto a block of wood first

Yep blocks of wood! although to get my car off the ramps when it was done we had to get people to physically lift the arches up to remove the ramp arms lol! i dont really see the lowness as a problem i like it, just gotta be more careful than a normal car

Looks really nice! I also have to plan my routes accordingly around speed bumps but hey you get used to it and it's always a good laugh
Plans sound good, I'd also say a sports front bumper and now our exhaust is on fit a 180 trim around it

tbh I dont think it needs the 180 trim on the exhaust, the way it's been cut looks cleaner than the 180 trims look lol!

Here, just had a thought. When I put the splitter on my car, when the snow was hardly even deep it was dragging it all up like a mini snow plow.
And I know your prepared for the "not going over speedbumps" etc, but think of the snow!!!!!

Wow, very nicely done. just had a quick read through some of your many pages.
That is one slightly impractical but very sexy looking car. Great job

Say bye bye to your bumpers, kind of pointless getting it lowered that much, since now you can't drive it anywhere lol, you would have been better saving up for air ride, at least then it would still be drivable

It is driveable, the bumpers are the last thing that would get damaged, i can still drive it just have to be careful with bumps, there's no point spending air ride money it would cost more than the car is worth... it's not pointless at all
EDIT: but you are entitled to your opinion so thanks for the comment lol

Just wanted to clear up, I do love the look of the car, but I could never go lower than 40mm as I have speedbumps all over where I live

14's are very small they make a big difference... it's really not as bad as people think just gotta watch for potholes and speedbumps
