Would appear that someone has decided to scratch my paint, but what would have caused this damage? Any ideas please? Also, any ideas on repairing it? Thanks in advance folks.

I reckon it might have been a screw driver...someone trying to pry the rubber back to get into the car.

Looks like it, whatever it was they were a determined little sh&*s. At least they didn't actually get in though

What He Said Definitely someone trying to break in. There was a mark left on my boyfriend's car when his window was smashed!

the spacing seems to equal and there seems to be to many for it to be a screwdriver? if they wanted in that badly they would have just smashed a window instead of trying that many times with a screwdriver wouldnt they?

as far as repairs id say a respair job on that part if you cant afford it or dont want to go through insurance then touch up pen job but it wouldnt look good.

It all looks too equally spaced to be a screwdriver, and surely there would be damage to the rubber itself too from a break in attempt? It looks like a right to left movemement which maybe hasnt come out in the photos.

maybe someone lent something heavy on ya car and it slid down the paint work, is there any scratches on top of mirror or rear wing, depending which way it could of slid?
its not a brake in attempt

I would say it looked like something heavy sliding down the door but if there is no damage on the wingmirror I'm gonna have to go with Kencogurl's Aliens, They stole the wife's choc's last night too.
