Ok well i have a suspected head gasket and i am going to get it confirmed tomorrow..

My question is how much would i get for it...

Clocks say 140,000 Miles (Engine change at 82000)
1999 'S' 1.4 LX
Suspect head gasket..
Ive put a whole new standard exhaust system on since having the car.

Im not thinking much i know just want to know what i should start asking for it..

Peugeot 206 1.4LX - Sold
Peugeot 206 2.0HDI D-Turbo - Dead
Vokswagen Bora 2.0 - Sold
Seat Leon MK2 2.0 TDI - New

How many miles has this engine done?

I'd say around £500 if that, if the bodywork is in good condition.

Probably worth getting it fixed as you know its good then.

About £200 tbh, a car with that mileage with a headgasket gone isnt gonna fetch that much these days...

Surely breaking it would be alot more beneficial money wise.

I've got to disagree.

GTi parts are sought after, lower trim model parts are not in high demand.

Get the car fixed & you know the history of the car & its worth more to you than what its monetary value is.
