Help please, posted in error on general talk yesterday
Hi there, new on here and have problems with a x reg 206 roland garros, non starter, no electric windows and centre consol not working?
managed to start car by using power probe to supply live feed direct to fuel tank sender /pump unit and car runs fine, but soon as power removed car dies, replaced multi function relay (brown one under ecu on n/s), checked all fuses but none blown

any ideas would be gradly received,

car completely std , and nothing touched.
car started to cut out sometimes, but nothing found and always seemed to then just restart, but now been dead for couple of weeks, i can do basic stuff and checked visually for rust etc round earths i could see,
suspected a bad earth or broken connection some where ?
any one got any ideas where all earth connections are and is there poss any common places to look for bad wireing etc
a friends mech said suspect area is wiring loom that goes under engine ?

suspect ill end up probably taking to auto electrician ?

well just to keep you updated , after changing mult function relay under ECU car didnt run, after more checking and asking advice from a friend at local peu garage, traced fault to fuel inertia cut off switch , some how wiring block connector was loose, all runs fine now , electric windows all work fine , air con and blower now all work.

still no fuel guage and still no genuine radio and also top centre console not working ?

trying a set of clocks from my other peu 206, will try non std cd player, unless any body else has any further suggestions? will probably have to get second hand centre display as mine in other car much smaller?
