Hi. i was trying to replace my front brake pads and i saw a plastic plate which could be slided from its place.anybody knows what does it do there?and is it normal or should be fixed?[img] [/img]thanks .

its nothing broken that is how they are i think its just to stop road splash on components

its some kind of guard, mine fell off when i was cleaning under my car, havent got a clue where to put back though lol

Yes it is a splash guard! There's one on each side.
