Hi, wasn't paying attention today and ended up scraping the front of my car across the back corner of another 206. Properly p**sed off seeing as i only passed my test last week Evil or Very Mad

the damage to the other car was pretty much only paint scrapes but my passenger's side front wing has a hefty dent in it and major scrape, has taken the paint off right down to the grey metal Crying or Very sad

so basically i'm wondering how much it'll cost to fix the dent, or if it would just be worth finding a replacement wing Confused

heres a wee pic of the damage:

A good bodyshop would cost around 150 to paint as it would need to be blowed into the door

would the bumper buff out? id would try finding a car breaking the same colour

Polish the bumper out or live with it, personally don't think it looks too bad to have a repair on that and just get a new wing £50 max jobs a goodun

Iirc it recalls taking the grill -> headlights -> bumper and then you should be able to get to every bolt.

you can get to every bolt without removing the bumper

i only did this the other week Smile

but yeah headlights and grill will need to come out and you take your wheel arch lining out to get to the awkward bolt near the door

there is also a bolt holding it to the bumper behind the cold air feed that runs up that wing

Grill yes.

Headlamp & bumper, depends what tools you have Wink

I fitted a pair of sport wings last year with Jarad's help, only thing we had to remove was the grill Laughing

Price of a new wing £35.

As it's only cosmetic I'd suggest you hold out for one in the correct colour.

Last thing you want to be doing is paying for spraying costs ontop.
