i bought a 1.1lx last june at an auction, i have had a quote today on repairing the body work on my car, he worked it out at around 400, o i repair this or save this and wait untill summer and get the 2.0gti.

That not bad depending on the damage. it might be worth fixing it and then selling it as by fixing it you would get more for it
Post a picture of the damage up so we can see if it's worth it or not

the biggest part was the rear quarter panel and bonnet for those two was 250 alone, and i will get pics up tomorrow

I'd say, wait and get the gti in the summer
BUT
What you got to consider is the rather big jump in fuel consumption and cost from the 1.1
If the car isn't falling apart and has passed/will pass MOT, then stick it out for the gti.
You'd be silly not to!! lol

is a 1.1 206 2000yr with more than 90K milage. even though you fix all the dent you won't be able to sell it for more than 1K.
live with the dent, wait until you got the cash for next car and then sell the 1.1 for break/spare

Can you still use the dented car as discount towards newer car. Or has that scheme ended?

think the scheme might have ended now, but cheers for the comments, think i will stick it out with this car, and wait to get a better 206 in the summer
