Went to full up the car and got a surprise when kept cutting out at only 53 quid. never filled it all the way up before so ignored it. Got back in the car andwas about 3/4s full.
So does anyone know why it wont take anymore?
Thanks for any help

dodgy fuel gauge they was a technical bulliten on some 206,s that was reading 3/4 when full and 1/4 when empty
if it clicked that means its full so must of had a dodgy fuel gauge

how I don't have a leak, was the dodgy fuel gauge a recall by peugeot or just a common issue. However mine definitely doesn't read a 1/4 when empty as ive run it much lower than that.

Just a dodgey fuel gauge, you get used to it.
My low fuel light comes on at 1/4 of a tank.

Could be the nozzle at the petrol station, if you hit the side of the nozzle off the side then it thinks the car is full.

If you can't get the normal amount in money wise, it must have been a fault with the nozzle you used at the petrol station.
