iv still got my other 206 parked on the driveway and really need to try and sort it cheaply or get rid of it
basically it lost drive about halfway through a 2 mile journey home from work but after getting it home i found it still drives fine in reverse and when started will pull away in drive then as soon as you touch the throttle it loses drive and the warning lights flash
iv done a fault code scan and it comes up with the vehicle speed sensor
fault and looking through the data backs this up but surely if the sensor was at fault if i locked it in first and drove away it should be ok??? im pretty sure that the solenoids are gone and dont think its really worth the hassle but would like some conformation as i havnt a clue when it comes to auto gearboxes
any info and past experience would help as i could really do with getting it back on the road as cheaply as poss
