Only problem is the typical owner doesn't look after them. They don't get serviced as often as they should but equally they might not have hard lives other than doing a lot of short local running.

Thanks for the suggestions! Her favourite was the Copen. Not too keen on the others. The fiat is too much of a roadster, the smart is somehow manly, and the figaro.. "let's give that one a miss shall we?" a bit too oldschool I think!

But now she knows the Copen has a tiny engine she's not so impressed Rolling On The Floor Laughing although that might help with insurance? She's checking it out now!

I think a test drive would be the best choice! Very Happy

the only bit i like Razz

Although 206 cc's have their faults so do all cars. It may not handle as good as its hatchback counterpart but the handling is still going to be pretty good, it is a Peugeot after all Very Happy Remember its the best selling CC going. Must count for something.

I got a 2.0cc
Test drove the 1.6 and the 2.0 before I got mine and preferred the poke of the 2.0
Had one of the seals changed on mine and treated all the others so they wouldn't leak
Change the aerial as mine had rusted
Cambelt and pump too
My roof is spot on never had a problem with it some times the micro switch in the boot can play up on them
I have a allure model and it is fully spec'd out

how is a 2005 tigra with relatively low miles so cheap? I think she liked these, but we weren't actively looking for them, the ones we saw were too pricey. for that price you couldnt get a same year/mileage decent spec 206 cc.. or am I missing something?

She wants to pay a max of £4k, and she can probably get £2k for her ka, as it's a luxury, and cars tend to go for a bit more in cornwall.

Ford Puma's still look tasty and appeal to everyone. Not a soft top I know but they are nippy and handle well.
