Only suggested them for a quote. Open at reasonable hours and usually one close by. Be a good comparison in price.
Might even be worth having a second test done and see if it fails on the same. You could even appeal the original and have VOSA have a look. How many people know how to check the catalyst is working. Expensive bit of kit, and good profit on the job.

Mine just failed on the catalytic convertor and cost me £150 to get it changed. It also needed a new lambda sonde? apparently. Cost me £285 including the mot including fitting.
I have no idea how much brakelines would be inc fitting.

b******s. In your "had a bad idea" thread is the real photo and the colour of your car is nothing like that above. Crap camara or not. You have adjusted the colour that much you've turned a green tree red.

Get onto VOSA about the other place. Obviously d**k Turpin Motors. They will rig a few cars and send them in for MOTs and the end result is they may loose their MOT status. We don't need garages like that.
Glad you got it all sorted though, and next time take a deep breath, count to ten and just ask for help. Help on here costs nothing and I've found most of it to be useful, although I do have a mechanical background but never touched a 206 before. We're all learning.
