just been flicking through coilovers for the 180, was debating getting some D2 racing coilovers. any suggestions ?

Only get coilovers if you are going stupidly low or adjusting the ride height a lot. Otherwise, get springs.

iv had, coilovers and springs, the coilovers seemed to improve the handling alot better.

both lowered the same amount

i love my coilovers i near enough change the ride hight every week !!! i love it and its so easy

always have a can of wd40 to hand to help get the dirt from threads

Well if budget is not a problem then look at the Tein range. I think they have electronically adjustable ones that you can change height by sitting in your car

The coilovers must have been a different spring or damper rate then.

A damper with spring and a coilover of the same rate will behave identically.

why D2? do you know D2 is well over price? D2 is actually made in taiwan.

and also, tein don't do electronically adjustable dampers for 206. r at least not off the shelf

not to mention tein is also just another brand of "cheap" taiwan coilovers, the lowest spec coilovers are twin-tube as well.

and basically you can convert standard dampers to coilovers easily Laughing
