Hiya,
Just looked at the history of my car's MOT, because I'm intrigued to know about the previous MOT, I don't think it should've passed but I bought it from a garage and it was the garage that had passed it... fishy huh? When I bought it, the middle seatbelt in the back didn't work and the windscreen washers had been cut. (Didn't notice this until I got home!)
So I fixed them problems, just checked the advisory of last time and it says this:
Advisory Notice issued
Both Front suspension has slight movement at a wishbone pin or bush
The MOT is in May.
Will this be an expensive thing to fix if it fails it?
taaa.

Just bascily wishbone bushes I think that means.
Not bad to do, I just buy new full wishbones easier Job and not expensive.

sounds like the lower arm bushes will need a pair of new lower suspension arms
talking bout £200ish for a cheap pair fitted i reckon bearing in mind the faxt the tracking will have to be reset after. genuine ones will be nearly double that i reckon.

blah. I hope it is cheap lol, because I really can't afford anything expensive on it at the mo... finding a job around here is like trying to find cheese on mars. Cheers for the help guys.
I have a funny feeling, looking at the history that the MOT station that MOT'd my car last time passed it when it should've failed.. when I got it, I found out in the first two weeks that: the middle rear seatbelt did not work and somebody had cut the windscreen wash tubing, meaning none of it worked. It should've failed, so now I'm really worried that there's something even bigger underlying that he didn't say about.

Did you not inform vosa/ relevant authority about the garage as that is a bad offence and they should loose there licence for that, and if you get a Haynes manual and the wishbones (about £35 each) and probably track rod ends aswell (about £10 each) and do it you self it's easy enuf.
