Now Then!
I have a set of angels on my pug, now if I upgraded the wiring etc, would 100w bulbs work in them, im mainly concerned about them melting soomthing etc, tell us what ya think?

Just upgrade the bulbs, I wouldnt bother doing all the wiring

i would be concerned 100w bulbs would melt something too .
New car 2011 / Thoruim grey , 207 1.4 Vti 16v Sport 95bhp , tinted rear windows.

Old car 2000/ 206 2.0 hdi.

Check the legality of having 100w bulbs. Most are just for off road use. I think the max bulb strength is 55w for both main and dipped beam.

55w isnt plenty though in angel eyes, they low on out put. Ive got £40 worrth of phillips bulbs in em at the min and its alright but I want the wow factor that I had with the 100w in my old car.
They are illegal but because they are white and not green or blue etc. i never got pulled over and my mums had them in her van for 3 years, so thats three mot's passed and she recomends them lol

Simple. Put the old bulbs back in and remove the ballasts.

Why would you be worried about it melting if you had them in your old car? and your mum had them for 3 years?
