Hi all,

I have a pretty big problem with my car....It was start....sigh
I am at a loss with it, i have checked and there is def petrol lol
I have check the spark plugs and all seems well there. Tried Jumping it and no luck there.... I had the fuel pump laced about 7 months ago so i wouldn’t have thought it could be that!

If anyone could give me suggestions of what else to try it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Yeah, I hooked it up to a charger and it said it was 40% full but I charged it to 100 anyway but no luck!

Most common thing to check is the Earth straps, particularly the one between the gearbox and battery tends to come loose because it's fitted at the factory so tight.

Also, I'm pretty sure you're not meant to jump-start multiplex cars are you - I think it tends to upset the BSI/ECU a lot....?

Or did you mean bump-start?

Cool I will check that at the weekend, I mean jump it, I've never known anyone have a problem jumping one! If me jumping it causes a problem it's only one more thing to go wrong, I'm sick of the bloody thing anyway, I've had it 4 years and not been able to do anything I've wanted with it because I have spent thousands fixing one thing after another! I would sell it but dont think I could do that to another human being! Ha ha
