My mate has offered me a single beam HID kit cheap. But, it's H1. Would it work in crystals if H7 bulbs were bought?

Yeah, they're H1....would look sweet. I really want HIDs on the dipped though, and at such a low price it's a shame to see them not go in.

Yeah you should be able to fit them, as the wire from the ballast to the HID incorporates the earth wire

So, how would the H1 bulb bit work? Can you change the bulb type on HIDs?

I've just been told that any type bulb can be bought for the HIDs. My mate had H1, but I can put H7 ones on it. I know nothing about HIDs lol. Sorry to post up a stupid thread
