Actually, both those sensors cost over £13 when you add on the postage, not so much of a £7 bargain but still cheaper than Pug.
It is on Ignitioncarparts for £11 delivered though - getting cheaper by the minute.
Also, any guesses on why this may solve a rough idle?
Just to clarify, this is not the engine temp sensor is it as mine is fine? I'm just hoping that a new air temp sensor will instantly show the outside temp to what it should be.

Sorry I found this which kind of answers my question:
A faulty air temperature sensor that is reading colder than normal will typically cause a rich fuel condition. This wastes fuel and also increases emissions.
A faulty air temperature sensor that is reading warmer than normal will typically cause in a lean fuel condition. This increases the risk of detonation and lean misfire (which hurts fuel economy and increases emissions).

i have simialr problem hopefully to be fixed in next few days but min is lumpy when i hold it at revs fine if i pul througth the revs
dianostics said
rpm sensor
knock sensor
and injector 3
i got a knock sensor and some injectors, still got the problem
i also changed temp sensor and crank sensor pugeot think rpm is releated to cam shaft sensor so lets see what happens.
