My 206 has developed a bit of a problem, it's happened twice in two days, when turning the ignition it turns over and the stereo spits out the CD or just whirrs if one isn't in, it wont start up, but then when I try again a few seconds later it's all fine, but the radio has reset itself.
The car is a Y reg 1.1 Look, well maintained and otherwise a nice little car, but I hope this doesn't turn into a money swallower, any adeas?

I would suggest getting battery tested.

I shouldn't think it's the battery, I got a new one last year, I'll be exceptionally anoyed if it is.

It may not be the battery thats gone but the alternator may not be turning out enough charge or something may be causing a drain somewere, but as above no harm in testing/checking
