Now I know the majority of you don't like the cheapo diffusers that are available as a 'styling' thing but hear me out before first.
Basically I'm looking at buying a spare sports rear bumper, modifying it so the diffuser actually looks like it's built into the bumper (i.e. cut the shape of the diffuser in the bumper, insert, fibreglass etc) and not attached. Have the exist exhaust exit flushed out and then have a RenaultSport 182 style exit with the exits in either of the small sections of the diffuser.
Have the two little chrome strips that come one the diffusers sprayed in Cherry Red but the whole bumper would be spray in the colour of the car.
Just to give you an idea...
I'll be wanting individual 3" rolled-in exits in each side and going for a fully mandrel bent straight through sport tone. The spare wheel will be kept and the backbox will be kept in the original place and just have pipes running the the exit points.
Let me know what you think.

I can't picture it. Correct me if I'm wrong But what your saying is it will look exactly like the Clio but on a 206?

Get someone to photoshop it, if you can describe it properly

Will it not look weird and would you not need to do something to the front bumper?

Also am I right in thinking that you you replicated the Clio's bumper on the 206 you would need to remove the spare wheel?

Wouldn't really need to do anything to the front bumper, unless you can think of something.
I see where you guys are coming from but it's not meant to look like a clio one, but just the exits being the same. I'll see if I can photoshop something up.
I won't need to remove the spare wheel, spoke to the chap who will be doing the exhaust and he can run a single pipe down the back end of the bumper and then have two exits tee'd off it.
Matt, Do you think it's do-able..? If you can give me an idea of how much you'd change to do it with the bumper you've got and I supplied the diffuser and just paint it up to match the car.

This could turn out really good if you decide to go through with it. Will take alot of time and money though

You won't be able to keep the spare wheel uz. I had enough trouble with a 25mm width beam for the towbar - there just isn't enough room for the hinge mechanism and bolt to work.
But great idea with the diffuser/central exhaust!
