i just checked mine and its averaging 28.8 mpg so not far off 30 i suppose , im not trying slate the 180 far from it infact i was just saying i don't think there particularly cheap to run but if the op can afford it then deffo get one lol.

I went from a 1.4 Quiksilver to a 180.

It's like driving a totally different car. The power is a bit of a shock for a while, although you get used to it, and then you want more. It corners much flatter, and can do so at much higher speeds. The gearbox was a revelation as well, even if it's still not quite as good as some other cars. Oh and the seats, brilliant seats.

But, it's still a 206. It's uncomfortable on long journeys, noisy at motorway speeds and build quality isn't great (albeit better than the Quicksilver).

You'll love it mate! I (sadly) had to move on to derv (got me a Fabia VRS) and I miss the 180 day in day out! The VRS is no slouch, but feels like a barge compared to my old 180.

Oh and I sold mine for £2800. And it was fine to run, as someone else said, smiles per gallon! I loved it, gotta be honest! Good luck, hope you find a nice one!

Thing is your MPG might be 28 ect, but in MK its 200yrds, then roundabout.. another 200yrds, then roundabout.. and it never ends.
