Do you need the transponder key.....? They are universal and aint specific You need a complete GTi wiring loom, front to back Engine Box Subframe Hubs Driveshafts Clocks ECU BSI Key Peddle Box Just a little, food for thought

I heard you need the transponder ring along with the chip from the key otherwise you will get the immobiliser fault and the engine won't start.
