I have a rattle coming from somewhere inside the interior of the car, i've removed the centre console and its not there, how do i

Check that the frame for the gearknob gaiter is fully pushed down, this caused a rattle for me Smile

You don't want to remove the dashboard...

Remove the glovebox, a number of screws & check behind it for any loose trim/wires.

It sounds like it's right at the front of the car, near the windscreen vents Sad

Not that it has anything to do with your problem but I owned a corsa about 8 years ago that used to have a rattle and after months of it getting on my tit's i finally had it looked at and it turned out to sycamore leaf in the heating duct
DOH!!! Laughing
