compared to toms my solution is a pretty pikey way out 
i suppose if youre going to do it may as well do it properley..

haha this was on my old HDi, my backbox broke so i had it off for a few days. it wasnt too bad
although my neighbour was an ex moto GP mechanic so i dont think he minds exhaust noise..

got it from a gti breakers not to far from me for £30
heres his eBay
not much louder than the orig but still sounds nice
