Right there's not a lot of info on the DV6 - would I be right in saying it will use the same driveshafts as the GTi 138? Checked Service Box but it doesn't state the diameter of the ABS ring.

I did & I reckon its gonna be the same drivetrain with different gear ratios as the GTI apart from the FAPTASTIC peice of French engineering under the bonnet powering it all

G. you never said if your ABS fault warning came up on your car? Mine has noe finally gone but comes back every couple of days. I think a new sensor is likely for me.

Check to see if one of the tyre pressures is significantly lower than the others which would affect the rolling diameter of the individual wheel and trigger an abs fault, similarly, if one of the tyres is worn more than the others.

Not checked the pressures in a while, will give that a shot and then order up new sensors if no joy.

Interesting, my O/S/F is worn more and ABS light comes on now and again. Also the ABS has kicked in when pulling away from low speed. Not often though.
