I have on my car One line DATE/TIME display with CD info and RDS and I would like to update it with bigger display possibly with trip fuel consumption etc.
So I found PP-T40 on e-bay part number 9650242977 3 bulb type.
1 question which type is this. From picture i see that is bigger screen then mine but you can't newer know because sometimes pictures can be disproportional.
2 question will it fit to my mid 2002 206 XS

You may require a new Com2000 unit or an BSI update.

You will need a new centre console hood (plastic surround) as the clock is smaller.

At least that's the case for non plexed clock - ppt30 I persume it's the same.

Yeah I thought so but I think that my comm2000 is capable for BSI I don't know maybe I'll take it to the dealership to program it with lexia.
My Comm 2000 has other than normal turn signals, lights, front and rear wipers front and rear fog lights and radio control stalk. but it does not have auto lights and BC button. I found on this forum that it can be done by switching top cap on the wiper stalk.

the MFD is plug and play (as yours is multiplexed and so is the 3 bulb MFD). you won't have to change to console plastics or anything.

pop the end cap off your wiper stalk and see if there is a button down there for trip function. i took the springy cap from a broken wiper stalk and installed it onto my non-trip comm2000 - as seen on pic below

you may not need a BSI reconfiguration - i didn't - but i guess it depends on your software version.

Thanks for quick reply. I thought it will be straight forward plug and play installation but i had to check first before buying it on e-bay.
So the part number from first post is correct for MFD like yours?

You might not need a BSI update, it might just need turning on in the BSI. I've done a few of them in the past couple of weeks. A lot them already have the capabilities, it just needs turning on.

yes i had a single line PPT40 initially, and got a multiline one like that - you need a 3 bulb type, a 4 bulb type is for pre-plexed

Yeah you can change it with the buttons [tells you how in the owners handbook], or when you get it activated in the BSI just tell them to do it.

You just go into the Mutlifunction Display ECU and change the settings

Guys thanks a lot.

Everything is working like charm. I bought ppt 40 multiline display from ebay for 28£ plus 10£ shipping to my country. I disconnected battery following the 3 minute rule. Then I connected new MFD, connected battery again, turned on sidelights and after that ignition. I got date and time on the MFD and after turning radio on other info from radio in new format.
But I don't have temperature because sensor is not in the mirror.
I tried to swap wiper stalk top part from friend but we broke the stalk due difference in design of his.
Next thing I did is put little straw from wd 40 in little nipple inside the cap from my stalk and returned on stalk and voila button is working. Ofcourse I had to cut the straw to fit inside. But it is working and without spring inside.

Now i have to find temp sensor to finish the work.
