Hi All

I got this weird issue as my car is leaking some sort of oil underneath on the floor at the front of the car, its right underneath were the engine is ......and normally it drops on the floor but sometimes it also comes under inside of the car and spill on the carpet at the passenger side. I have checked the Power steering fluid and brake fluid and their quantities are not going down at all. The fluid is light pinkish in colour and there is no smell to it.

Please advise me as what it could be? but i havent noticed any probs with the car in any aspect, so shall i leave it till something stops working or get it checked

i am really good at nothing

Could well be coolant?

Hi Guys

Thanks for such a quick response, but if its coolant, the car is not overheating at all and the coolant level is still the same from ages, and if it is heater matrix, would i notice any difference in driving or any noise of any kind ?

i am really good at nothing

keep your eye on the water level. If when you are driving is continues to go up even after the fan haskicked in stop straight away even before it gets to the red.

Is your coolant pink? If you have blue anti-freeze then you can say it's not the heater matrix. If it's just a few drops you wouldn't notice the coolant going down until you had lost a more than a few ml. You could always get your cooling system pressure checked at a local garage just to make sure.
