After extensive inspections and the Coilpack, map sensor, ICV and sparkplug being changed, the garage have come back to me saying for some reason the ECU just isn't telling my car to put enough fuel in when cold.
The guys had it hooked up to a diagnostic machine and no faults when reading but fuel levels where to low. This was being tested on proper £30k kit too 
Does anyone know of a reputable ECU repair company that would be able to diagnose and fix the ECU. Any do you have any idea of the cost?
I was tempted to try an find a crashed 206 2.0 and try and swap the ECU on the cheap but the chances of finding one aren't good. Plus would it be a straight swap or would i need a specific ECU code?

EDIT: if you are swapping the ecu you'll need to the bsi and transponder as well, or you'll need to unlock the ecu which means no immobilser.

Infact, you could always just download the coding from your ECU and reupload it to the new one, which would include the immobilder coding.

Right there's 4 options
In box one
You can send you ECU off for it tested and be repaired
In box two
You can buy an unlocked ECU which is off a car with the same engine as yours
In box three
You can buy a locked ecu off the same engine as yours, but you will also need the BSI and the immobilser transponder chip for the key
In box four
You can buy a ecu from a car with the same engine as yours. Download the hex coding from your ECU's memory via the EOBD port. Then refit the new one, then reupload your ecu memory to that one

I see, so option one will be my easiest bet but it obv means car off the road while its being repaired. Any suggestion on where to send it and how much it'll cost?
I have found a website that charges from £35 for a diagnosis, from £65 for a repair and £85 for a replacement after you send off yours. The worrying bit is the "from" part.
Peugeot did say the other month that it's odd for the ecu not to store faults. especially as the eml light was on at the time. it's been on 3 different plug and play diagnostic machines now with nothing found.

Have you probed the wires coming from the ECU yourself to see if its working?

If i got second hand i'll also need to buy a new bsi and transponder though, no doubt pushing the price up massively. Haven't probed or tested anything myself as i don't have any equipment or know how on how to do so.

No you buy the ECU, BSI and transponder all from the same car. You can pick the sets up for about £150 off ebay
You only need a multimeter. I can tell you the pin layout

Mate if you wouldn't mine sending me the pin layouts that would be great, along with a brief guide of what readings i should be getting. I'll get my old multimeter out of the loft. no used it since college lol.
I'm gonna start searching ebay in any case

Just sold our complete ECU KIT, However if you want to go down the orad off downloading your software and uploading it to a new (2nd hand) ECU then we have one if intrested,
Reason it aint complete, our mechanic forgot to take out the bsi before we scrapped the shell.
Hence us only having the Transponder, Ecu and Key.
If this happened last week you would have been in look for a full kit as we had 2 others which sold for 120 each.
