Hi folks! Me again! Now i have a new problem that i hope you could help me with Embarassed
I had some squeeking and clonking from the rear axle, and whent to the mechanic to check it out.
It turned out that the rear axle needs a refurbish! and this is gonna cost me from £1000-1500 Crying or Very sad So i was wondering if there is a tutorial for refurbishing the rear axle?

And is this the parts i need?

I've just this moment ordered a rear axle from a breakers yard, £120 including VAT. get yourself a 2nd hand one from somewhere, if its drum break it'd be around £100, disk brake maybe a tad more!

I am in the process of doing a "how too" but with several different combinations of bearing size I am taking a little longer than expected... You can follow the thread on lowering your car and the thread by Edward on replacing your anti roll bar, this tells you how to prepare for removing the radius arms. The bearing removal is fairly straight forward and reverse to fit new ones.... making sure your shaft is clean and undamaged is also a consideration. Its not that difficult to do if you have some mechanical know-how........

I have some mechanical know-how, and have a good mate who is a mechanic. So if its not to difficult i would like to do it my self.
