it may very well be your brake pads, they do seem to stop squeaking when you brake, y?? i dont know they just seem to

if it stops when you brake then it probably is you breakes.
when you brake your pushing the pads firmly against the discs. but when you have a sticking pad or warped disc it slightly brushes as i goes round causing a squeek like yours.

you can also get it when you fit new pads and dont run them in before heavy use, giving you a polished surface. this tends to squeek more under light breaking though.

Youve got the same problem as me! this is exactly what im going through, its even a louder squeek than my exhaust i either thought i would be the brakes or the bearings so looks like its the brakes.

if you get new pads ensure you run them in (burnish them) its important to get the most out of your brakes
