I have a Moonstone 206 with Vortex wheels. Im going to arrange to have them refurbed tomorrow just wondering if I should change the colour or go for a glitter/flake finish? Any suggestions would be most appreciated.I tried searching but I only come back with MattyP's car on Orange vortexs.
Just bored of silver tbh. Graphite seems the norm on a moonstone car but fancy trying to be a bit different! Thought blue might look funky and different??

Heres a pic of my car ( It may be cc'd in the next couple of wks unless I go for graphite and might do all strips same colour)

Thanks

I say go for something different and create a unique look for your car Smile

I know thats not really siding with one of your above stated options, but I just think do something different like the glitter/flakes idea (although I'm not sure how well that would last on alloys at the risk of wasting alot of money if it doesn't work out to well) but a a subtle yet interesting colour scheme would work well me thinks!!
Moonstone always seems like a good colour base to work with.

Man the F--- up!

pics of renault black/gold vanman on any cars please?

like I said open to all suggestions, dont want to have a 206 which looks like every other 206 (I know I have vortex wheels, but apart from that)

The only probably I find with moonstone is that darker colour wheels tend to suit and everyone has already done that look!!

All show & no go

Well painting your wheels black ain't going to work. lol

Lots of people have done most things nowadays. So unless you come up with original ideas (like my fuse box cover) that someone has done it.

Personally I would spray them white, with a baby blue pearl flip Very Happy hasn't been done and would look mint Very Happy

Yep. Ford ST Frozen white base, with either baby blue flip pearl as a middle coat, or FLAKE

The thing I have learn'y is grow some balls and try something new.

If people don't like it then who gives a f***!

I mod my car the way I want it, not be a "scene" queen like some people on here Wink
