so i had some LED bulbs for my rear indicators and some brake lights.
got them istalled and then checked them. indicator problem was they were going really fast but as hazards they were fine. then the brake lights lit up ok but when i turned my lights on they never came on. any ideas?

not sure about the brake lights, but the indicators regulate their flash rate with resistance, and LED's have far less resistance than standard bulbs so you will need resistors to make them flash at a standard rate.
i imagine they flash ok when the hazards are on because all of them together give enough resistance.

the rear break/tailight is normally a two filler ment type bulb, the led bulb will need to be brake/tail bulb not a single type???
