right, need to make up some cheap aluminium door cards as it catches the door bar.
would 0.5mm thickness enough or do i need 1mm thickness?
have seens some carbon fibre one which is about 1mm thick but i don't fancy spead 100+ on just the door card.

wouldnt have thought .5mm had enough tensile strength to maintain its form (esp that of a OE doorcard). 1mm would be better. 2mm prolly the best.
Nice idea actually, would be a pain to form tho im sure.

surely is just some simple measure and then simple cutting? haven't though too much really lol

i think he means once its cut, bending it to the correct shape with enough tension to maintain it
