So, i recently suffered a blow out on the front nearside wheel and had to have a new tyre, no big deal... Or so i thought!!
They first put on a part worn to keep the cost down, boy did that make the steering wheel shake at motorway speed, i mean it was moving side to side, crazy!! Anyway i take it back and they fit a new tyre, £30 and rebalance the wheel. Ace i thought, nice and cheap...
Now i still have vibration at motorway speed. no where near as bad but its annoying and driving me crazy! Have taken it to 2 different garages to have the wheel rebalanced, no change.
Could it be just the cheap tyre? Have checked the specs of it and they match the others apart from the speed rating. If i have the tyre placed to a back wheel will that help me see if it is the tyre ( i.e will it stop the shake). Any help appriciated, am losing my rag! 
EDIT:: the second garage checked wheel for buckleing/bad suspension and claim its all okay..

bucked wheels?
what you could try is put the rear wheel to the front, see whether it makes a difference or not

I would be swapping the fronts onto the back anyway, so it keeps even tread depth on the front, which in turn reduces vibration and pulling.
Having the wheel balanced doesn't mean the wheel isn't damaged. I used to know of a place that balanced wheels on the car but it shut down. Don't know anyone else with the machine.
It is possible that the sudden deflation of the tyre has damaged the suspension.

what tyres are they? are they asymmetric or directional, sometimes it can be a problem!

Sorry i did a edit to say it has been checked for a buckle and apparently is okay.
I hear what youre saying about balancing but after being in 3 diff garages it should have been sorted right? The last one said it was out by 30-something and added an extra weight but this has done nothing 
If its a wheel/tyre problem that will go away if i put it to the back i think ill have to give that a go

if it is just non-balanced/ bucked wheel, put those "less perfect" wheel at the rear will make the vibration disappear (provided those 2 at the rear orginally is good)
if it is suspension problem then it will remain there.

Ok. suspension was apparently also checked but i will deffo get it placed to the back just to try and rule other things out.
Hopefully its just because its a cheap/defective tyre

really you want equal / the same type of tyres on the front, put the other one on the back and see if the vibration goes away, have you had the tracking looked at? just a thought, not sure if it would cause what you describe, even so you dont want to shred the new tyre if its out

Have not specifically had tracking looked at no, didnt think it would cause vibration.
Gunna get it all done after the bank holiday (rotate wheel, balance, tracking) and see if it helps. Thanks!
