Just been in the garden. Had the windows down in the car, locked & armed the alarm to see if it would go off, As I had some issues before with it.
Then, forgetting I'd locked it... I reached in through the window to start the car & of course the alarm sounded. So I unlocked it to turn it off, then the light on the hazard switch was flashing as usual, so I started the car to make it go off... But the light won't go off!!
Car runs fine & everything and the light only goes off when I set the alarm again, & won't change to a solid light if I press the alarm button to disable to interior sensors. & If i just lock the car without setting the alarm it still flashes like mad... Atm I've disconnected the hazard switch to stop if flashing, but any ideas?

Non plexed car, doubt it would do much.
Id try deadlocking the car again to arm the alarm system, waiting a minute then disarming it again.

Would reset the ECU's tho b taking off the battery for 10mins
I'd just set the alarm off again. Lock it with the fob, then unlock it with the key in the lock, then start the car.

Just trying setting the alarm off... no avail. Now disconnecting the battery for a few mins! Looks like the light might be flashing to tell me my button... the turn off alarm button isn't working. Because I just unlocked the car with the key to set it off, then pressed that button to turn the alarm off & it didn't work. So I'm guessing it's broke

You need to just turn the ignition on, the transponder chip will shut the alarm off.
206 alarm is different to the older generation PSA alarms.
