hi,
have just bought a 03 plate 206 lx 5 door.Great little car ,however have noticed a slight sound on driving,and when took to be checked was told that it was rear n//s bearing ,so had it changed but noise still the same.So had the rear o/s changed too but noise still there!!
Are there any sureshot w2ays to find out which bearing has gone as the garage seems to be suggesting that i need to change all four bearings to be sure

For a start a garage should be able to tell if a bearing is worn by the amount of play in the wheel.
Is it a rumbling, knocking, squeaking? Are you sure the noise is a bearing? It might just be road noise coming through the tyres. Might be brakes binding.
