Doesn't seem to be us usuall problem of not sliding when trying to access the rear - but not tilting instead.
Seat will slide back and forward OK and recline when you move the lever back - but when you move the lever forward nothing.
Had a good look - everything that can be seen with the upholstery peeled back seems OK - lever to cable/and down to slide mechanism works and isn't jammed. It seems the problem is within hinge where the ratchet that releases the tilt foward is hidden (releases fine when lever moved back, but doesn't release when moved forward).
If I take the seat out is it possible to strip the frame to gain access to this?
Or any other ideas?
Steve

now i just let people in to the back via the drivers seat.

There was a thread all about this, it may have been loss when the old site died.
I too have a knackered passengers seat, it folds down but the seat doesn't move forwards, luckily I don't have more than 2 in the car that often!
Annoying comment fault with the 206.

Folding but not moving forward seems to be often the top hat pin issue or jammed runners (pound coins etc) - but mine doesn't fold (and must get past that point before the slide operates. The old thead is still here - was reading it a couple of days ago - might be worth a look on yours.
However it's now working - so I suspct something had jammed the ratchet in the hinge and it's now come loose (I did spray some silcone grease around, that might have seaped in over time and helped).
