When I bought my V reg gti, the MFD wasn't working. I took it out to have a look at it and found that the previous owner had removed all the bulbs. So I bought some replacements and fitted them. The MFD still didn't work.

How easy should they fit in? I know it's a stupid question but they seem to be really loose or if I twist them the other way, they feel barely in.

The other thing is that I think they also removed the fuse for it, as I found a spare fuse in the ashtray. Would it have it's own fuse or am I barking up the wrong tree?

Thanks
