I have bought a set of bars gonna fit them tonight, do they cip into the door seal, i dont have to take roof runners off do i or r kits different??

I know some of them you have to remove the black plastic strip on the roof to get at the channel that the roof bars secure to.
Small plastic rivet at each end that secure the plastic strip.

Yea will do because these bars seen long and over run those black runners because i also thought ud have to takem them off

these, which I got from halfords, have feet that sit over the roof strips and a bit that fits under the door seal - there are indentations in the metal under the door seal that show exactly where to position the bars. I also sawed off bits from the ends of the bars because they stuck out quite a bit, being a generic kit.

Can't see you having to remove the roof strips as they form part of the windscreen finish.
On other makes that do have the fittings below the roof strip, there is normally a slideing cover to gain access to the mounting point.
