Defiantly followed these steps?
1. Ensure all the doors are unlocked using the key.
2. Press and hold the plip key button until the LED stops flashing.
3. After releasing the button, the LED will light constantly.
4. Press the Plip Button once, and the LED will extinguish.
5. Open the door and hold the Plip key near the Ignition switch, and press the plip button one time.
6. Turn the ignition ON, and wait 10 seconds, then turn ignition OFF.
7. After 5 seconds the Plip should now operate.
Red light work on the Fob?

Hi .
I've the same problem.
bought a 2nd hand plip one button key off ebay. inserted blade and transponder so that's fine, but cannot get the central locking to work from the 2nd hand plip. Have replaced battery and gone through reprogramme process many times over.
There must be something fundamental we are missing.
anyone have the answer please?????
thanks

You CANNOT code a 2nd hand / used / new remote plip to a 206 without diagnostic equipment.
You need Peugeot Planet to code a replacement plip.
The resync instructions will only work if the remote has been already coded to the car.

Hi Mr BSI.
thanks for quick answer.
Seems odd that so many are for sale on ebay if you have to get it reset by this planet thing. Do you or anyone else know who can do this and what you need or can i get software for my PC somewhere? I can't see a connector on the pcb so am once again lost. Still baffled at the ebay thing - why are they being sold I wonder - still I only paid £3.50 incl post so not the end of the world.
BTW I didn't get any codes (incl radio) when bought car as previous owner didn't get from previous to him so if I need them, I guess its Peugeot £25.00 the richer.
